features:
MORE Point of
Sale KEY FEATURES …!
n
The sophisticated layaway and special orders
module is a big selling point. All payments on layaways and
special orders are neatly organized and accessible with a simple
name and/ or phone number lookup.
n
Change Your Receipt Type from a Sale to a Layaway
or Special Order and back again, if needed on the fly.
n
Put one or more transactions on open (all day
long) and process other customers. This is a great feature for
gun ranges where customers may be shooting for hours and need to
keep adding items to their receipt.
n
Add Inventory on the fly (security driven)
n
Change item price on the fly (security driven)
n
Give line item discounts and receipt discounts
n
Override security to grant temporary access to all
functionality , when exceptions arise
n
Optionally put customer name on receipt or leave
it blank
n
Supports Tax Exempt Purchases
n
Multiple Payment Lines on the Same Receipt using
the same or different tender types (great when 2 or more people
want to split the bill but all want to pay with cash, or credit
card, for example. )
n
Item Description and Part Number appear on
screen. This helps the cashier further identify the item being
purchased and reduce the incidence of intentional and
unintentional ticket swapping.
n
Receipt Totals are broken out by subtotal taxed
and untaxed which reduces confusion on Receipt Totals
n
Shipping and Handling, Restocking and Misc. Fees
can easily be added to the receipt during a sale using Add Fees
button.
n
Extensive Use of the “F1 – F12” buttons to
expedite data entry
n
Voided Sales are tracked by the System and Cashier
is Required to input a Void Reason. Numerous voids may signal a
cashier that needs more training!
n
Receipts can be printed in two formats! Extended
receipt with description, optional serial number, payment
history, and customer name is available and quite suited to
serialized transactions, sales of consigned items, and to any
retailer wanting to offer its customers a detailed receipt.
Standard, concise receipts printed via a thermal printer are
also available. This is more suited to retailers that do not
sell serialized merchandise. However, the system can print
either/or depending upon the user’s requests. You may want to
print the small receipts for normal sales and the large receipts
for layaways and serialized sales.
n
Keeps track of Cash in and out of the Drawer.
n
Processes Refunds with receipts by accessing the
old receipt in the system, and letting you select from the old
receipt what needs to be returned. The price paid by the
customer at time of purchase is transferred to the new refund
receipt. The customer is then refunded what he or she paid.
The customer doesn’t even need to bring in their old receipt!
The system can access that customer’s old receipts using their
name!
n
An unobtrusive running total lets you know your
up-to-the-minute sales for the day without displaying it to your
customer’s. This is a security-driven feature!
